What happens if it rains?
Drag Racing is a sport that relies on a dry racing surface for competition. To remove water on the drag strip, Toronto Motorsports Park uses a combination of machines to dry the track. We will make every effort possible to dry the surface following a rain delay.
If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather, the promoter of the race, i.e. Toronto Motorsports Park, OSCA, NHRA, etc... will make the call regarding rain checks and only at the time of cancellation.
The Road course will run rain or shine for all events, Open Car Lapping, Motorcycle Lapping, F2000 Driving Experience or Exotic Dream Car Experience. If the weather is too dangerous or there is too much rain for the customer to have a great experience with us, Management at that time will make the decision to cancel and the customers will be notified by phone or email. The customer then will have to contact the office to rebook their date.
